The view over Otsego Lake was a lovely part of our stay, and we even had kayaks available on the property. My wife and I spent our first night away after getting married at Château du Lac, and David made us feel so welcome. Each morning he served a fresh homemade breakfast, always different, delicious, and beautifully presented with quality ingredients and baked goods. We also loved the cookies he made for us in the evenings. The room was comfortable and very nice. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

There was no parking, and the outdoor deck was slippery enough to feel like an injury risk. The rooms were very small, and everyone shared a bathroom. I wouldn't bring children here because it didn't feel safe for kids. The owner came across as creepy and was shouting on the phone. Very misleading. I do not recommend it.

They changed the price weeks after taking my money, and they don't honor reservations. I found them dishonest and rude. They also hung up on customers. Do not book this hotel.
