There’s plenty of parking for larger vehicles and semi tractor trailers, and the hotel is very close to I-95. The room also had a microwave and a fridge/freezer. That said, this didn’t quite match some of the other reviews. The toilet lid was cracked, and housekeeping seemed to do a half-hearted job. It was dusty, with chipped paint and problems around the wallpaper and trim. Other reviews suggest they’re remodeling, but it looks like they haven’t reached the back bank of rooms yet.

The staff were pleasant, and the lobby and breakfast were nice. But I wouldn’t choose this for more than a night. The exterior needs work, the doors are ancient, and our room had a poor remodel despite its new fixtures. We saw two roaches the first night, probably because we were near the pool. It’s nothing to rave about. They should focus on cleaning, sealing the doorways, and replacing the exterior doors instead of just dressing up the lobby.

For the price in this area, this was hard to beat. The room was really clean, the new mattress was super comfortable, and breakfast included hot waffles. Great value, and I felt they deserved a good review.

Everything worked in the clean room, it was fairly priced, and we felt safe. It looked just like the photos, breakfast was tasty, and we liked being within walking distance of things. We arrived very late last Wednesday, Nov. 29th, but Kelly at the front desk was welcoming and accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy. I’d stay again and recommend it to others.

The lobby has been updated, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. We were up front near the lobby, so the internet worked well. Check-in went smoothly, with friendly staff. The front desk clerk also handles breakfast and works quickly to keep up with everything. We’ve finished our first night of two, and if tonight and tomorrow morning go as well as last night and this morning, I’d have no problem staying here again. The property is older, though it’s been updated and painted. I like the brick walls and wouldn’t want them covered just to make the place look more modern. Windows and doors should be on the owners’ list for future improvements. The pool is out of season, but they should skim the leaves out just for appearance. A second waffle maker would be nice since that’s what most people want, though adding one would take major changes to the floor plan and cost space. One thing to know: local law enforcement patrols heavily and seems to give no warnings, even for minor rule breaks. Their presence might also keep trouble away.
