The three-course breakfast was delicious, and Albert’s commentary made it even more memorable. Dawn and Albert were wonderful hosts, and Grace Manor Inn is truly spectacular. Our stay went far beyond what we expected, making it a fantastic start to our marriage and all the adventures ahead. We were sorry to hear Dawn and Albert might be selling the B&B, but we wish them the best. The spirit of our time there will stay with us forever.
We stayed in the coach house, which felt more modern and gave us nice privacy. The hosts made us a vegan breakfast, and the location was great for our honeymoon, with lots of fun shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance in Richmond.
The porch at the back was a lovely spot to sit and read, and breakfast was magnificent. We also appreciated having an Internet-ready laptop available for guests. Our top-floor room felt luxurious, and getting to its private bathroom through the hallway was no problem. Grace Manor Inn has a stylish look and an airy feel in a residential neighborhood, with charming owners. It’s a relaxing place for a getaway or honeymoon. If you have time, the nearby Virginia Historical Society is worth checking out. Without a car, getting around can be a little tricky. A cab from the downtown Amtrak station is about $20, and walking to the lively area around Main Street takes roughly 30 minutes.
We had a delicious, generous breakfast in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts were warm and gracious.
The atmosphere is great, and the dogs are cute. Honestly, there aren't enough stars for this place!
