Everyone had a great time at our wedding reception, and we couldn't have pulled it off without the staff at The Red Roof Inn in Ridgecrest. Supervisor Debbie made us feel welcome and showed my mother and me around, and housekeeping clearly works hard to keep the hotel looking great. You all deserve a raise. We'll be back, and next time we'll bring our swimsuits! We booked the Flight Deck room for $500.00 for our reception after getting married on 10/25/25. The room fit 60 people comfortably, and I believe its capacity is up to 80. We were given nine tables with nine chairs each, though we ended up using seven, plus clean white linens. There was room for two large folding tables for catering, drinks, and cake, another for the bride and groom, a small props table, and the DJ's electronic equipment. The air conditioning worked well, with easy-to-use controls, including dim lighting for ambiance. We had access to the room until 11 p.m. We used our "Johnson Wedding Party/Reception" for a nice discount for family. Debbie also showed my mother and me the bridal suite, and my husband and I booked it after the reception since it was right next to the Flight Deck. It had a king bed, a remote-controlled warming fireplace, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, lots of storage, and two comfortable chairs with a small round table between them. Both the air conditioner and heater worked splendidly, and the bathroom was clean with a jacuzzi tub. We also saw my parents' room and were impressed by its two huge beds and the room size. The hotel itself was the nicest Red Roof Inn we've ever visited. It was clearly well cared for and had plenty of amenities. We loved the courtyard, with its beautiful, well-kept fountain, seating for smokers, clean heated pool, and semi-private BBQ area. We regretted not bringing swimsuits, but there's always a future stay. Breakfast was continental, with coffee, juice, milk, cereal, waffles, muffins, bagels with cream cheese, jelly and peanut butter, fruit, and oatmeal, as far as I can remember.
