Salmon Rapids Lodge

The river view from the back patio is always lovely, and the lobby was clean and attractive. The fresh cookies were alright, and the staff were friendly. There’s plenty of parking, and it’s a nice spot, within walking distance of a bar and steak place and a local grocer. The beds are worn but comfortable enough. The room we stayed in smelled awful, sort of like raw fish mixed with bad Mexican food. I had to buy Febreze at the local market to make it bearable. The last time I stayed here, it was actually a Best Western. The rooms are still nice otherwise.

Tiffany and Jennifer were wonderful to work with, and our attendees were enthusiastic about the facility. We had several meetings in the conference room and a couple of catered meals there during our annual conference this past September, with about 45 people attending. People really liked the scenic setting and rustic atmosphere. We’d highly recommend Salmon Rapids Lodge if you want a fun meeting or conference destination that’s a bit remote.

My travel plans changed, so I arrived in the early morning hours. The staff were kind and quick to respond to my messages about getting in late, and I really appreciated their help when I arrived. Salmon Rapids Lodge is charming, with beautiful scenery, and my room was very clean. Breakfast and coffee were great too. I highly recommend it.

Waking up to that view was just wow. The room was huge, clean, and so comfortable, and I loved having proper coffee mugs instead of tiny ones. I enjoyed my first mug on the balcony. Breakfast was a real highlight: there were breakfast sandwiches, several kinds of eggs and protein, and lots of good fruit the first morning. The next day they had a build-your-own burrito, which was the best! I drove in late at night, but my room was ready, the staff were super friendly, and the water was hot with amazing pressure. Everyone was helpful and made me feel like family by the time I left. It seemed like they genuinely liked their jobs and working together, and that came through in the service. The pool is great if you want to look at the river instead of get in it and still cool off, and there were a few things for the kids to play with. This was hands down the best place I’ve stayed in a long time. I can’t recommend it enough!
