The Cottage has three rooms that share walls and patios, though each has its own entrance. It’s more rustic, but felt more private than the Single Ranch DELUXE. For $10 more a night, the upgrade might be worthwhile, and for $20 more, the Private Cottage should be a better experience. We stayed in the motel style Single Ranch DELUXE another year. Those rooms are very comfortable, and the landscaping in front of each one is carefully maintained, giving the setting a mysteriously enchanting feel. They aren’t completely soundproof, so bring the best earplugs you can find. That’s always a good idea. Dinner at the restaurant is lively, and the service is always EXCELLENT. Portions of food and adult beverages are generous. We had the Prime Rib Sliders, with lots of meat, and they were VERY VERY filling. Ask for hot sauce. The Broasted Chicken is a MUST ORDER. Broasting uses a pressure fryer, which gives it more flavor and uses less oil, so it’s healthier. Where else can you get broasted chicken?

We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, easy check-in, and a delicious late lunch at Lazy H Ranch. Service was great, and the chicken wings were incredible. We’re planning a longer stay next time we visit. I only wish they served breakfast too, since I’m sure that would be a great meal.

Cute, cute, cute! We didn’t stay at the hotel, but the whole vintage-style compound was super cute. The restaurant had excellent food in a very casual, vintage dining room. It’s not a five-star hotel by the usual rating standards, but the experience was super.

We went to the restaurant Sunday around 6:45 pm with eight adults, and it was fairly crowded. The waitstaff were friendly and quick. We had margaritas, prime rib, chicken pasta with shrimp swapped out for me, and house salad. Everything tasted good and was decently priced. The decor is unique and interesting, though the indoor spaces could use some cleaning. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

Good food and wonderful service in a lovely old-time restaurant.
