We left and checked out after the front desk attendant said there would be no refund. They also refused to give us a copy of the receipt. The owner runs Motel 6 too, where we had first booked, but our room had been given away and we were sent to Tomahawk Motel instead. The room smelled heavily of stale cigarettes. The comforters looked stained, and under the sheets we found long hairs and other debris. The mattress cover had pee stains, and the mattresses were filthy. The sink faucet sprayed water everywhere when we tried to wash our hands. Absolutely disgusting, and a very unfriendly place.

We got in at 12:30 am, long after closing, but the staff were really friendly and made it work. The room was clean and cozy, with a nice small-town feel. Great value for a place to sleep while traveling. I'd stay again.

Room 227 was disgusting. There were fruit flies and other kinds of bugs when I arrived. The bathroom didn't even have a door, and the TV didn't work. I kept my stay in the room clean, but the previous people had apparently been drunk all the time. I asked several times to move, and my dad asked too. They said they'd look into each concern, but nothing happened. I finally got fed up and was able to move. Don't stay in that room.

It was cheap and okay for a night's sleep, but pretty bare bones. The motel is old, though fairly clean, and there was no breakfast or even coffee. I couldn't shower because the tap was faulty. The towels had holes, cable TV wouldn't connect, and the ice machine was out of order.

They call room 242 luxurious, so ask to see it before paying. Complete trash. This place isn't safe either, any mother would know. Save your money and stay somewhere else!
