The patio breakfast was a lovely way to wrap up our stay, and the bed was so comfortable. Everything at Black Lantern felt cozy and immaculate, from our room to the shared space. Cindy was warm and accommodating. We had an amazing time, thank you!

We slept better than ever in the cushy king-size four-poster bed in The Roanoke room. The restored 1900 home is spotless and lovely, with a hearty, delicious breakfast in the morning. Doug & Cindy, the new owners, are warm and engaging. It's also easy to walk to downtown restaurants and shops.

Our suite was comfortable, clean, and felt like home. Chris and Jayne were generous, charming hosts, and the care they put into the details made the stay feel special. We loved the fresh local ingredients at breakfast. My wife and I left with a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend Black Lantern Inn.

We stayed in the spacious, cozy top-floor room, which was the largest one. Jayne and Chris are the sweetest couple, and we loved our time at this b&b. Breakfast was just what we needed before the long drive. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone passing through.
