Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke

The staff were friendly, helpful, and knew the area well. We came for a concert and had a great weekend stay. It’s close enough to get downtown quickly, but we didn’t have to stay downtown. We’ll be back. Our room was a good size and a little dated, though nothing too bad. The AC and heat worked well. The only real gripe was the thin wall to the adjoining room, since we could hear a lot of what was going on there. Breakfast was pretty good, if a little spendy, and there’s a small sundries market. Plenty of parking behind the hotel too.

My daughter had an appointment at the children’s hospital across the street, and she loves looking at the city. When I asked for an upper floor room facing the view, the gentleman at the desk readily took care of the request. She has cancer, so that meant a lot to us. We checked in on 1/5. The room was very clean, the lobby looked exquisite, and the atmosphere was calm. The woman at checkout the next day was friendly and helpful as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The hill up to this hotel is very steep, but the views are lovely, especially with snow around. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The lobby has a bar and dining area, a cozy spot with chairs and a fireplace, plus outdoor seating.

We were on our way to our Christmas destination and stopped here for the night. Even though we checked in after midnight, the front desk employee was very friendly. The room was spotless, with fresh, pristine towels, and those beds were incredibly comfortable. We slept better than we have at other resorts. I’d highly recommend a stay here.
