The course is a real challenge, so beginners might want to wait before taking it on. It’s built on beautiful land, with amazing views from several holes. We had pretty good food at the restaurant, and the guy in the pro shop knew the course well and was super helpful.

The back nine had spectacular views, and the course was in great shape. The greens rolled true. It’s a challenging layout, and I’ve already figured out a few holes I’d play differently next time. We’re planning a return trip.

Plan your shots carefully here. It’s a mountain course with uneven lies, elevation changes, and some blind shots, so don’t just grip it and rip it or chase distance off the tee. Focus on placement, use a golf ap or the fairway yardage markers, and account for the elevation when choosing a club. The views and course are memorable, and the staff adds to what could be one of your most memorable rounds. The grill’s hours depend on business, but if it’s open, get a burger. They’re amazing and juicy. When it’s cool, they use gas carts because electric ones won’t last as long. Some bad reviews aren’t to be trusted. Go book a tee time and enjoy the fun.

A proper mountain golf experience, with lodging on site, great staff, and exceptional food. The course has plenty of adventure and ideal greens, with breathtaking views. It’s just minutes from the parkway and very close to Charlotte. The fall colors are as good as it gets.
