It’s a no-frills place with very friendly and helpful service staff. The prices are quite reasonable, and it’s within walking distance of most of the semi repair shops. I appreciated that they allow pets and will definitely stay again.

It was hot the first night, but I was too tired to do anything about it. When I got back from work, I spoke to the front desk and moved rooms. Things have been much better since. It’s quiet, nobody bothers you, and I’d definitely stay again.

Cockroaches were all over the room. The elevator moved while I was getting on, then broke, and they never fixed it. There were stains on the walls and holes in all of them.

I stayed here because my truck broke down while it was being serviced, and I was skeptical about a budget hotel across from a truck stop. The front desk staff made a great first impression, which helped. The place is clearly well lived in, but it’s $65/night, and my room was clean, spacious, and QUIET. Most important for me, since I’m incredibly allergic, there were no bed bugs. All the staff I ran into were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was free. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I wouldn’t call it a hidden gem since ya can’t miss it. If I need a place in the Waco area again, I’ll be back. I hope I run into some of the front desk crew when I pull through Pilot. Y’all made what could’ve been a miserable week a lot more bearable.
