There was one really nice male staff member, though I’m not sure of his name. We’ve come to Rochester once a year around July or Aug and always stayed here because they accept dogs. We even stayed when it was Holiday Inn. Since it became Clarion, it has really gone downhill, and this year we’ve decided not to return, even if we have to board our dogs. The rooms are okay, but the mattresses are too firm. The buildings are dated and getting into rough shape, the parking lot is in very poor condition, and the hallway carpets are worn out. It just isn’t worth staying here anymore.

We come about 5 times a year for my nieces’ Volleyball tournaments, and the staff are ALWAYS friendly. The breakfast hashbrowns are undercooked, though my kids like them! I love the fenced-in pool area, and there’s a cool rec area for small gatherings. The bat has karaoke, which is fun for parents at night. The rooms are dated, yes, but good customer service can outweigh the material things. The beds are amazing, and that’s ultimately why I keep coming back. Great job. #keepitup

We stayed here for Mayo visits, and the stay ended up taking 2 weeks longer than we expected. They wouldn’t honor a weekly rate, saying it was because we had a cabana room. Absolutely no compassion. We’ll have to return, but we will not be staying here.

The staff were really friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed three nights, and the accommodations were very good, especially the spacious bathroom. Booking online was easy too. I’d stay here again.

The pool and lounge areas were clean, and the beds were comfortable in a quiet room. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast fell short of what I expected.
