Even Hotel Rochester - Mayo Clinic Area, An Ihg Hotel

The restaurant food is decent, though the menu is limited and I'd like to see it change from time to time. The Gonda building is about a 17 minute walk in winter, and there's also a hotel shuttle. My appointments happened to be at odd times, and after hours on a plane I wanted the walk and exercise anyway. This was my second Mayo Clinic trip staying here, and another great stay. The rooms are clean, and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. I always enjoy Rochester.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and I'd happily stay here again. I especially liked having a workout corner in the room, with videos to go along with the exercise equipment. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too, more like a quaint little cafe. The omelet was fluffy, light, and full of flavor.

We had a wonderful stay at Staybridge Suits. Mandy deserves a special thank you for her kindness, attentive service, and for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. The whole staff was welcoming, helpful, and professional. I'd highly recommend the hotel and its team.

There are plenty of food choices close by, with several restaurants within walking distance. The lobby and restaurant also have microwave meals, fruit, snacks, and a made-to-order menu. A shuttle runs regularly to Mayo Clinic (Gonda Bldg) and St. Mary's hospital, and underground parking costs a modest fee. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The lobby, restaurant, and exercise equipment were all nice, and our room was clean, comfortable, and modern. The whole hotel is kept clean, with staff sweeping and mopping throughout the day without getting in the way. Everyone has been friendly and kind. I can't recommend it enough.
