I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving, and the front desk guy wouldn’t refund me. He called my room after my brother stopped by and said my brother looked like a “sketch ball” and that I had to kick him out. I’ve never had an employee call my room to ask who was with me. The guy who checked me in was weird and made me uncomfortable. Gross.

It snowed, and when I left for Mayo Clinic at 5am, someone had already shoveled the walks and cleared around all the cars. I really appreciated that. The woman at check-in was kind and helpful. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but it did what I needed for the price. Clean and quiet, and I’ll stay again.

They took $50 from my $100 room deposit because of a stain on the sheet, apparently from something that had started there. I checked in pretty late, and the heat in the room wasn’t on and wouldn’t turn on at first. It’s an okay last-minute place to stay, but take another option if you have one.
