Holiday Inn Rock Hill by IHG

My daughter was so happy here that she asked, “Mommy, can we please stay here?” She didn’t even mind being away from her toys. As a parent, it’s hard to find a place that feels clean, safe, and comfortable for the family, and this one did. Our room felt fresh and modern, with nice colors and floors and no old carpet. It was beautiful, and the Christmas decorations downstairs were cozy and welcoming, like walking into a home for the holidays. The kitchen staff were kind and attentive, and their care made breakfast more enjoyable. The front desk agents welcomed us warmly and made us comfortable right away. Everything seemed to run smoothly, from the cleanliness to the staff’s hospitality and professionalism. This was my first Holiday Inn stay, and it truly felt like home. I’m thankful for the experience, and we’ll absolutely be back. ❤️

Garrett went above and beyond to make sure my family was looked after, and made a welcoming stay even better. I’d recommend this hotel 10/10.

We stayed for an MTB race, and the hotel was incredibly easygoing. We rode bikes in the halls and made noise at the pool, and nobody seemed to mind. They really put up with us. The rooms were great and comfortable, the restaurant was nice, and the food was good. Honestly, this hotel is a legend. I liked the place so much I even restocked its snack bar store.

We’ve stayed here more than 40 times this year, often for over four nights a month. The breakfast staff are always sweet, attentive, and friendly, and we’ll miss seeing them. But we’re done giving this hotel chances. The washer and dryer have been out since June. The front desk staff know, but act clueless, and keep sending guests to a hotel across the parking lot that has no agreement to take them. We travel for long stretches, so having clean clothes matters. On top of the laundry issue, we often need a different room because the AC can’t be adjusted or the room is filthy. The photos show what was left as “clean”: towels were taken and not replaced, the hand soap was empty, and there was red clay in the shower. We’re moving on.
