The hosts, Barbra and David, were the loveliest, and you could tell they run the place with pride and love. Breakfast came on beautiful china with real silverware. Barb made homemade Eggs Benedict one morning and peach stuffed French toast the next, and I didn't want to leave. My boyfriend and I found this bed and breakfast on a whim during our Quad Cities vacation and stayed two nights. The house is so cute, full of antiques and beautiful furniture, and it felt like an old house museum where we could actually touch things, sit, and live in the rooms. I love visiting those museums when I travel. It's clean, cozy, fancy, and gorgeous, with modern technology alongside the Victorian look. For Bridgerton and historical romance fans, this is the place. 10/10, we'd stay again.

Dave, Barbara, and Beth are warm, wonderful people, a delight to talk to. The house is beautiful and has authentic Victorian decor. Every morning there was a lovely homemade breakfast and amazing coffee. We shared the beautiful dining table with the other guests, and it felt like eating with family. One of the best bed and breakfast stays I've ever had. We'll be back.

It was 35 and windy outside, but inside the spacious rooms it was warm and cozy. The location made it easy to visit lots of spots in the Quad Cities, and the breakfast deserves its own review because it was that good. With all their precautions, we felt safe, which made this getaway especially nice during these times. We just got back from two nights and can't wait to return. David, Barbara, and their daughter Beth were perfect hosts, and the house was as wonderful as they were. We'll definitely be back.

We've come three times to get a break from everyday life, and every stay has left us smiling. We've already booked another visit for February 2020 for our anniversary. Breakfast is top class, with a linen napkin on a lace tablecloth. While you're there, ask about Circa 22, a small dinner theater just down the street that's worth a visit. We booked the next show, "Kinky Boots." My wife and I are looking forward to another safe, comfortable weekend away. We can't give more than 5 stars, or we would. Thanks to the owners, Dave & Barb, for making life memories for us. Dave & Lori ~ Milwaukee, WI

The breakfasts were so good that even after staying at many nice B&Bs and hotels around the country, we found Barbara and David's meals over all 3 mornings simply delicious. Barbara asked what we'd like the night before, and when we said "French Toast!" she said no problem. Day 1 brought light, airy French Toast; Day 2, Eggs Benedict better than we'd had anywhere; Day 3, fluffy cheese and ham omelets with petite cinnamon rolls, perfectly cooked and presented. The huge dining room table was set with care, with fresh cut fruit and flowers waiting for us. Barbara and David often chatted with us over breakfast, and they're charming, knowledgeable hosts who make running a B&B look easy. They've operated it for over 25 years, and we enjoyed asking about the house, its history, their family's connection, the photos and antiques, and Barbara's dollhouse collection throughout the first floor. My wife and I met owners and innkeepers David and Barbara Parker and immediately knew we'd chosen well for celebrating Joy's birthday with a few days at their Victorian B&B in Rock Island, Illinois. There are 6 upstairs rooms, each with its own bathroom, reached by a beautiful original carved hardwood staircase. Our room felt warm and inviting and had a working fireplace. David later told me the Inn has 7 fireplaces. After just one night we felt at home and relaxed. The Inn is in a historic neighborhood near downtown Rock Island, just off the Centennial Bridge, and the house is on the National Register of Historic Places. Next time you're in the Quad Cities and need somewhere to stay, keep it in mind. The home, food, hosts, and neighborhood make it a solid 5 stars. It doesn't get better than this.
