Surfside Getaway

We enjoyed it so much that we stayed extra days. Our king unit had a full kitchen with everything we needed to feed the family, and it was clean and well appointed. Even the towels were nicely folded with bars of soap tucked in. The staff were super friendly and unpretentious. Calling the resort directly to reserve was easy, and there was a warm welcome when we arrived. After a long day of travel and beach time, the indoor heated pool was pure Nirvana. This place checks all the boxes! 😀

You step down a short set of stairs from the Resort and you’re right on the beach. I’d never stayed at a Resort directly on the water before, and it was such a treat to smell the ocean air, hear the waves, and play in the sand and water. Just putting bare feet in the sand and salt water, with the waves coming and going, made it easy to relax. It was a much-needed escape and a really special time.

The best part was opening the balcony door and listening to the waves. It made our spring break trip down the coast so peaceful and relaxing. We chose an ocean-side suite, and it was worth it. The room was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen, separate room for the kids, two TVs, a patio, a full couch, and a dining table.

I was nervous about staying here after some awful experiences elsewhere, even though the Christmas holiday deal had me excited. It turned out better than I expected. The staff were prompt and so kind, and having direct beach access was amazing. The local restaurants nearby and in Manzanita were great too. I’d highly recommend it for anyone wanting a nice getaway without spending too much.
