The host, Cameron, shared thoughtful suggestions for places to visit and stories about the town’s local history, which made it feel personal. This is a lovely old guest house, kept very clean and thoughtfully presented in a way that respects its history. It was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped. We’ll book here again next time we’re in Armidale.

Raleigh and Frances made us feel at home right away, and their warmth added so much to our time in Rockland and Maine. We’d planned to stay one night and ended up staying two. The house itself is beautiful and cozy, with lovely personal touches, comfortable bedding, clean stylish bathrooms, and details like salty chocolates and olive oil waiting for guests. Breakfast was included and freshly made. We had lemon and wild blueberry pancakes with strawberries, maple syrup, and bacon, and it was delicious. The location is right on the main street, near restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. We spent the weekend around Coastal Maine, Rockland, and Camden, and this was one of the highlights of our trip, maybe our favorite place in Rockland. Raleigh and Frances, thanks again, and I hope we see you soon! :)

The staff were so kind and accommodating, and the service was great. There were freshly baked cookies every day, too. Breakfast was fantastic, with high-quality food, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and had nice linens and pillows. The location is perfect. Whenever I’m back in Rockland, I’ll stay at the Lindsey Guest House again. Highly recommend it.

We found the inn easy to reach on foot from everything we needed, and the rooms were spotless and nicely decorated while still feeling cozy. Raleigh, the owner, was very helpful with questions and requests. There’s also a useful little information book, along with plenty of great suggestions for places to eat and things to see and do. After a long day out, it was lovely to have cold bottled water, tea, coffee, and snacks available. Breakfast was divine. We can’t wait to return, and anyone visiting the Mid-Coast should stay at the Lindsey!

My girlfriend and I loved getting to know the owners, Brett, Megan, and their son Emerson. They’re such awesome people. We loved our stay here.
