Best Western Premier Rockville Hotel & Suites

We were there with a lot of families for a soccer tournament, and the hotel made sure breakfast was ready and fresh. The staff were accommodating throughout, especially Catherine at the bar. The place was clean and updated, and I was pleasantly surprised. Some duct work was being done, but it was minimal and didn’t affect guests. I’d recommend the hotel and stay again.

The place looks nice and seems clean, and breakfast is decent, but in room 425 I keep hearing what sounds like mice or rats moving and scratching inside the walls. When I brought it up, the sounds stopped, then started up again as soon as people left the room. It’s coming from the wall by the bathroom and behind the bed. I’m just glad work is paying for the room.

⚠️ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK⚠️ I drove in from Colorado. After checking in, I unpacked, relaxed, and sat on the bed listening to music with my headphones on. Then I saw movement in the corner of my eye. It was a RAT!!! 🐀 They moved me to another room, and I didn’t find any issues there. It was already 11:30pm, and I was too tired to find another hotel. The following night, around 1:30am, I woke up to a couple arguing in the parking lot. At first I looked out and thought nothing of it since they were standing and talking. A few minutes later I heard something like a scream, looked again, and saw the man standing over the woman yelling at her. I called the front desk and said there might be a DV issue outside involving a male and female couple. After I hung up, the man kept shining a light in her face. I thought that was odd and told my husband. He got up, looked out, and said, “He has a gun in her face with a surefire!” About a minute later, local PD arrived aggressively and subdued the man. I was so relieved. My husband’s family later told us that this hotel is used for social services.

A couple of room issues stood out during my corporate stay: noticeable stains on the sheets and hot water that never got fully comfortable. The late check-in also came with technical difficulties after an exhausting travel day. AJ at the front desk stayed patient, attentive, and focused on finding a solution, and made sure everything was handled properly so I could settle in smoothly. His calm manner and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference. He’s a credit to the guest experience and reflects well on the hotel’s service.
