When my husband and I stayed here, I didn’t like the place. Opening the door, I was hit by a horrible smell, and a rat ran under the AC. The carpet smelled awful too. At the desk, a young Mexican boy was on his phone and dressed like he was going to high school. He didn’t acknowledge me, and I waited around 10-20 minutes before he spoke. His customer service sucked. I’d give the hotel a 1.

Over the years I’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always been a wonderful experience. The General Manager, Claudia, and the staff have been sympathetic, empathetic, and kind to me. They pay close attention to my disability needs and make sure I have a safe, secure room that accommodates me.

The room was clean, and the location worked well, with lots of parking. Service was okay, though I wish someone had checked in to ask whether everything was alright or if I needed anything else. I’d give customer service a 4.

I’m writing to recognize two of your best employees, Avyan and .Nicolas, who works the evening shift. My family and coworkers have experienced their outstanding hospitality and felt welcome every time. They’re both very good at their jobs. Avyan always has a great smile and a perfect work ethic. I think Avyan should be promoted to supervisor. If Avyan doesn’t get promoted, we’ll be very disappointed. Nicolas is the best in the evening and has outstanding skills. Please make a note.
