Super 8 Rockwall

For what we paid, it felt like a good deal. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, and the location worked well for the lake and restaurants. I didn’t ask for any service, but Mrs. Patel was smiling and efficient when we checked in. She also didn’t mind when my son took a bowl of cereal at 4pm, well after breakfast hours.

The main issue was the staff, whose attitudes felt hateful and unpleasant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. Be aware that not every room has a fridge or microwave. The breakfast area has no tables or chairs, and the only choices were cold cereal and cold water. The ice machine is very slow, though it eventually works.

We stopped here overnight on our road trip to san Antonio, and it did the job as a place to rest. The bed was comfortable, and the room had basic things like a TV, fridge, and microwave. I didn’t check whether breakfast was free.

The outside looked kind of plain, but the room was better than I expected once I got inside. Check-in was okay, though the card reader went down for a minute. The coffee bar was a bit of a train wreck, but I did manage to get coffee. All in all, I’d go back.
