I strongly advise against this motel, especially if you have a disability or are in a vulnerable situation. My family and I were stranded by serious car trouble during our stay. Since I’m disabled and can’t drive, we waited respectfully at the property gazebo for our ride. One housekeeper was compassionate and understanding, and even suggested we might be able to get a late checkout while we waited for our assistance to process. Another staff member was aggressively hostile, spoke disrespectfully to my daughter, and threatened to call the police because we were sitting outside, just as our driver arrived. I later phoned the front desk about her behavior and was met with more profanity and unprofessionalism. The lack of empathy toward a displaced, disabled guest was unacceptable. We immediately transferred our assistance accommodations and took our business elsewhere. If you need somewhere in or near Battleboro, spend the extra $15 to stay in a neighboring town where paying guests are treated with basic human dignity.

The only good things were the friendly front desk staff and the location right off I95. The room had visible mold on the bathroom ceiling and peeling ceiling in the main room. A plastic mattress cover sticking out made it feel like an hourly motel. The bathroom and sink area floors were filthy, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the TV remote didn’t work. Lamps and a window blind were broken, and there were large holes in the carpet. We complained to Choice Hotel headquarters. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, so choose one of those.

After a 17-hour trip, I checked into a disgusting room where nothing seemed to have been cleaned. There was old soap in the shower, a dirty towel on the shower bar, and the bath sink area hadn’t been washed. Something had spilled on the nightstand, and the folded shower mat was dirty when I opened it. The whole room was filthy. The fire alarm kept beeping because of its battery, and I had to unplug the noisy mini fridge. I can’t believe they let a room this dirty go. Stay away. I wish I could attach the pictures I took.

We stayed one night on Jan 15 2026. We didn’t spot them in the room until morning, but there were cockroaches. I’ll spare you the pictures.

The price was great, and I was really happy with the stay. The room felt cozy, with a nice bed, a big-screen TV, and a clean, modern look. The staff were kind and friendly too. ☺️👍🏻❤️
