Holiday Inn Rocky Mount - US 64 by IHG

We liked the made-to-order breakfast much better than the buffet style at other hotels, and there was food both my husband and I could enjoy. The room was spacious and clean, with a microwave and small fridge. The walk-in shower had an unusual door that you pull open instead of sliding. The mattress was too soft for my husband, who felt like he was sinking into it, and he said he hadn't slept well the next morning. That was the only real downside for us.

I picked this place after checking nearby hotels and seeing it had the highest rating. Rocky Mount was about halfway through my drive, and I just needed an easy place to sleep before an early start. The front desk woman was so kind and helpful that the quick stop went smoothly. The room was clean, the beds were nice, and checkout was easy. I'd stay again when passing through or visiting the area.

For the $73 total I paid, this was great value, and I'd definitely stay again. I was there for one night in April and wished I could have stayed longer. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, a good shower-only setup, and a TV with a strong channel selection. Everything worked as it should. Staff were very good, parking was easy, and Cracker Barrel is right next door. I'd rate it 8.4/10.

We were surprised by how nice the hotel was and will recommend it and return on future trips to FL. It's conveniently just off I-95, with plenty of parking and a covered unloading area for bad weather. There are luggage trolleys, and it's dog friendly. The place looks fairly new, and the staff were friendly. Our room had two queen beds with excellent mattresses and linens. The hotel is clean, with an open lobby and fireplace, a bar and small restaurant beside it, an outdoor patio, and an indoor pool. A Cracker Barrel is within walking distance, other restaurants are a short drive away, and there's a clean gas station nearby.
