The breakfast space was clean and had something for everyone, and the room felt cozy and clean too. The $75 pet fee is pretty steep, though, so I'd only stay here as a last resort because of that.

I could hear people passing through the central part of the building and making noise, even though my room was well away from the busy street. The sound insulation seems poor both inside and outside, and the thin, flimsy window doesn't seem double-paned. Light sleepers may want to avoid this hotel.

Normally this is a clean, welcoming place in a solid location, and it's usually fairly quiet. Tonight there's a youth baseball group here, with kids running through the halls and yelling. The room above us sounds like a herd of elephants. I usually book the top floor for this reason, but there weren't any rooms available this time.

Robert was helpful from the moment we arrived with our sports team. He was friendly, knew the area well, and suggested places to eat and things to explore with our group. Barbara was just as caring and helpful when we saw her over the last couple of days. I asked about a lost item, and she took my details, then called before her shift ended to say she hadn't found it. Both were a joy to deal with, and every interaction was pleasant.
