For my four month stay, having a safe-feeling area, shops, and transport nearby mattered most. Golden Gate Transit has a commuter bus to and from San Francisco as early as around 4 a.m., with the stop next to the hotel. Grocery stores, restaurants, retail, and other shops are a short drive away. Breakfast was served every day, and guests could get coffee around the clock. I used the two grills by the pool often, and they didn’t disappoint. The staff were hella attentive to my specific housekeeping requests. There’s Netflix, Apple TV, and YouTube, too. There’s no spa or bar on site. I wasn’t looking for those, and if you want a business stay with breakfast included, no vehicle parking fee, and a budget-friendly price, this hotel works well.

The rooms are huge, the building is new, and the staff are lovely. But the traffic noise comes right through the windows. For such a modern place, the soundproofing is bafflingly bad, like the cars are driving through your suite. Bring earplugs.

I spent about a month here for military service. The staff were friendly and always tried to help, and the outdoor pool could be nice in summer. Breakfast was free and had decent options. The walls are paper thin. You can hear full conversations and even your neighbors snoring, and there aren’t set quiet hours. The Wi-Fi speed was fine, but it made my devices disconnect and reconnect several times a day. I was working on my laptop and got kicked out of meetings at random. Having to reauthenticate over and over was extremely annoying and inconvenient. You should be able to accept the terms once and stay connected. The location isn’t terrible, though some homeless people were living in vehicles in the parking lot next to the hotel.

I’d stay here again. The room was huge and comfortable, mostly clean, and having a full-size fridge, plates, and silverware was great. There are lots of food options nearby, plus a Target, which was honestly the best perk. Two towels weren’t clean. One still had hair on it, and something sticky was stuck to the other. Maybe it was stubborn and didn’t come out in the wash. Luckily, the other two towels in the room were very clean.
