Urban Steak was the best part of our stay. The staff there were terrific and did everything they could for us. The food wasn’t much to look at, but it tasted good: we had hamburgers and the Urban Salad one night, which my wife liked enough to order again, and I had onion soup and a Cesar salad another night. Both were good. We’ve stayed here twice in two weeks because of our cross-country flight connections. The first room seemed updated, smelled and felt clean, and everything worked. The second was the opposite. It smelled dirty when we walked in, and we blamed the disgusting carpet. We kept our shoes and socks on the whole time. If it hadn’t been 10:00 pm, we’d have asked to change rooms. The bathroom was tiny, the sink barely had more than a trickle, and the shower hot and cold plumbing was reversed, so hot came on right away. The beds were comfortable in both rooms, though the headboards had years of visible marks and looked pretty gross. The staff were pleasant but lethargic. With our late arrival and early departure, we didn’t see much of them. We’re IHG members and get a pretty good rate. The hotel is convenient for the airport, with a free contracted shuttle there and back. The drivers are polite and helpful. It’s sad that so few people tip them.

Marilyn at the front desk was a gem, so personable, kind and gracious. We were only there for less than 12 hours before an early flight, and the hotel suited us perfectly: quiet, clean and easy to get around. The flight and park was convenient, and the shuttle was quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

Being close to the airport is the main plus here, especially for an early departure or late arrival. The shuttle is available, but its timing was inconsistent and it didn’t reliably follow the schedule. Staffing also seemed limited during my visit, so service was slow and staff interactions were minimal, without the level of hospitality I expected. The rooms and facilities look dated, with aging fixtures and finishes. It may work for a short stay if location is your priority, but keep the staffing and condition of the property in mind.

The shuttle was essential for me and arrived right on time. My stay was good overall, though there was only one luggage trolley because the other had a flat tire. Shower pressure was weak, and the room needs charging ports.

The gym was the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel anywhere. The equipment was old, broken and dangerous, and these facilities are in such bad shape the place shouldn’t be operating as a Holiday Inn. Maybe a motel 6. The coffee was disguising, too. Whoever made it and whoever hired them should be fired. This is garbage, and the ownership and management should be ashamed and fired. If they can’t provide decent coffee and a decent gym, they should close. These are BASIC expectations, and guests are being robbed when they expect certain things from hotel brands.
