The owners made booking easy, even when we needed to change our reservations, and their pet rates are reasonable. They’re dog friendly, too. Four of us stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we all slept well. It’s a quiet place to unwind, with plenty of outdoor space for a group to hang out and a spot to make a bonfire if you want.

A decent place to stop when you’re tired and need a bed for the night. It’s a classic, old-school motel, and being dog friendly was a plus. My wife asked about breakfast and was told they haven’t served it since COVID. I think we should all stop using that as the reason by now, since we’re long past it.

The bed at North Winds Lodge was fantastic, which matters a lot to me. I have a full back fusion, and an even average bed can leave me struggling to walk the next day. I’d stay here again when I come up to ski. The flooring was new and clean, the shower got hot right away and stayed that way, and the shampoo smelled like cherries. 02/2023

The bed was extremely comfortable, the best I’ve ever slept on, and the room was spacious and easy to manage with crutches. The owners and workers were really friendly, and the staff gave useful information about the area. Prices were great. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 is that some things, like the towels, felt obviously cheap and weren’t good quality. All in all, a wonderful business.

Clean rooms and bathroom, kindest staff. It’s a great classic motel, a good place to crash at the end of the day. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who needs that.
