Comfort Inn Roseburg

They called after my dad left his swim trunks behind and offered to mail them to him. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, nice, and spacious, and breakfast was good. There are eateries across the street. The odd thing is how close the hotel sits to a residential neighborhood, so you’re looking straight into people’s yards.

We had comfortable beds and a clean, well-appointed room. Ours was a double queen on the second floor at the back of the hotel. The view was of nearby homes’ backyards, but there was lots of greenery and a large tree. Front rooms would face the parking lot and roads. The outside looked dated and uninviting when I arrived, so I wasn’t sure at first. Breakfast was the usual Comfort Inn spread, which we like, though this time we met friends at the Caseys restaurant behind the hotel for a great diner breakfast. Good comfort and value for an overnight stay.

The owner arranged an upgrade before we arrived, and we got a large, comfortable room that had just been deep-cleaned. Staff were friendly and efficient. The location is central, and I usually walk to nearby stores and restaurants. Breakfast is filling, with lots of choices, and the lobby always has fresh lemon water, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!

I was exhausted after 14-straight hours on the job, and they accommodated me on short notice. The manager/owner was very nice, and this was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hot tub and pool area, cafeteria, rooms, and parking lot were all spotless. Breakfast had lots of good options too. I appreciate the care they put into the details.
