Lynfred Winery

Finally nice enough to sit outside, and I love coming here to have wine and catch up with friends. There was a pizza truck, and the pizza was one of the best I’ve had. I forgot to take a picture of it, but I’ll try to catch the truck again.

We wished we’d had more time here. The winery has several spots where you can enjoy a glass, and the whole atmosphere feels warm and inviting. The wines are excellent, the employees are friendly and know their stuff, and I could easily spend all day. There’s also a bed and breakfast on site that we’d love to return to for a night or two. I wish we lived closer, because I’d come often. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t sure about locally made wine, but Lynfred Winery won me over. The wines are very drinkable, with some grapes grown locally and others sourced from negociant vineyards around the world. There are dozens of varietals to try, from whites and reds to rosés and sparkling wines. The tasting room’s warm wood tones make it cozy, and the staff are kind and welcoming. We like stopping by for a food truck, the monthly glass pour when we pick up our wine club order, or an occasional special event. The winery’s lower-level event space holds about 200 guests, and there are charming local bed and breakfast options nearby if you want to extend your visit. It’s a lovely spot for a date, a day out with friends, or just enjoying good wine in pretty surroundings. A crowd-pleaser, and a fun place to make memories.

The American Suite at Lynfred Winery Bed & Breakfast made for such a peaceful stay. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and cozy, with fresh flowers that felt like a thoughtful welcome. The bed and even the pillows were incredibly soft, and we had one of the best nights of sleep we can remember. The high-end linens added to the comfort. Breakfast the next morning was fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared, and we loved the wine too. The grounds and exterior were beautifully kept, including the woodwork around the building. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, which added to the relaxed feel. With great hospitality and lovely accommodations, it’s a hidden gem for a quiet getaway.
