Royale Inn Motel

The rooms and everything in them were clean and comfortable, and the service was always great. It's a quiet, well-located place, and the manager and all the workers are so kind and respectful 🙏. It's a good, affordable place for a family vacation. Words can't express how grateful we are for all their help. Thank you to the manager and the whole team 🙏.

I was a little unsure after reading reviews that mentioned cockroaches, but I didn't see a single bug or insect. The room and grounds were clean and well kept. The property is neat and well maintained, and the 24-hour front desk was really helpful during my stay. Breakfast is provided too. A comfortable option if you're staying in Rosemead.

The Wi-Fi wouldn't work in our room, and they refused to move us even though there were plenty of vacant rooms. Service was hard to get, with the counter often unattended. The mattresses, pillows, and towels were blackened and very dirty underneath, despite the appearance of the inn. This inn and the one across the road are both abysmal. I wouldn't recommend either. You'd be better off saving $150 USD and sleeping in a rental car.

The staff were nice and helpful, and for the rate I paid it was good value. The property had just been renovated, so things looked clean and newly decorated. The rooms are minimal, though: no reading light, microwave, or coffee maker, and nowhere to put luggage except on the floor. There are only a few hangers and no tissue paper. There's a hot and cold water dispenser by reception, but the ice machine was out of order.
