Courtyard Minneapolis St. Paul/Roseville by Marriott

The bed was comfortable and good quality, and the hotel had the usual Marriott / Starwood amenities. The bigger issue was the water: even at its best, my showers never got properly hot, and when usage was high they were nearly cold, just a little warmer than cold water. Staff only shrugged and said nothing could be done, and that cold showers were to be expected. Noise from neighboring rooms also seemed worse than at other Courtyard by Marriotts, though I didn't measure the soundproofing. I wouldn't stay here again.

Breakfast cost $15 per person, and what we got was cold, mostly starchy food, tough bacon, and terrible reconstituted eggs. Housekeeping also missed our room during our two-night stay: the only bathroom trash can wasn't emptied, and we didn't get fresh towels. The room itself had the bare minimum. At the desk I waited 10 minutes for an associate, who then came in from outside smelling strongly of pot. I picked this place thinking it would suit professionals. I won't make that mistake again.

Melissa Gepp, the Director of Sales, was such a pleasure to work with. She was professional and accommodating, and took a lot of the stress off us as we planned and hosted the Minnesota Artists Summit.

The hotel was great, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Del. We were here for a wedding with some awkwardly shaped things to bring up to the room, but the luggage carts were small airport-style carts, not flat beds. U-shaped flat carts would have made this five stars.
