The staff were really nice and accommodating, and the lobby looked good. The room carpet was badly stained, though, and the rooms felt dated and kind of gross, not like a Marriott stay to me. We also had the random fire alarm go off during our visit, as other reviews mention. I'd choose somewhere else next time, though it's probably fine if you're here for work.

The staff were genuinely kind, and the location is handy for the freeway and lots of shopping centers. That's about all I liked on my second stay. My most recent three-night visit was a miss, and after being here twice I'd rather pay extra for a four-star hotel. Room 100 was by the side entrance on the ground floor, so door slams kept waking me through the night and morning. People going up the stairs beside my room to the rooms above were easy to hear too. Sleeping in wasn't happening. The rooms are dated, with beat-up old furniture, stains on the walls, and carpets that look very old. The bathrooms have almost no water pressure or hot water, and the toilets are child-sized. They charge $12 a night for parking, which felt unreasonable for a place with such a bland interior. The front desk person told me about the charge at 1 AM after my long day, then said I didn't need a parking pass for my car. So why was I being charged? The lot is small and usually full at night, with a third of it reserved for handicap parking.

I've spent more than 75 nights here over the past few years and have always had a great stay. The management team does a good job, with great employees looking after guests and representing the company well. A special mention for the night shift manager, Mr June, who's always friendly and helpful.

Every staff member I dealt with was fantastic, truly top tier. The hotel itself was disappointing: old, worn, and grungy. My dresser was broken, the bed seemed held together by a metal coil, and the pillows were flatter than Kansas. Even the water pressure was barely better than a slow drip. If you have another option, take it.
