We were upgraded to a three-bedroom when we reserved, and it gave us lots of room. There’s plenty of parking, too. The place itself is beautiful and close to popular spots for skiing and snowboarding, as well as the lake.

It was a calm, peaceful place to stay, and I really enjoyed my visit. The staff and service were much appreciated. Nevada beach on the shores of lake tahoe is pretty close, and south Tahoe township is only about 2-3 miles away.

We’ve made Tahoe a family vacation spot since I became a time share holder in 5/2004, and the staff had always treated us well and respectfully until this year. The reception staff were horrible from the moment we walked in. They were so condescending that I wanted to leave right away. Even though we’re “VIP,” they acted as though our stay was coming out of their paycheck. They got our stay dates wrong, then made it sound like our fault and scolded me in front of other people checking in. It was humiliating and made me sick to my stomach. I was too embarrassed to attend the classes they offered and just wanted to get out of there. My brother came with us in his own car, but staff told him to park across the street, not even on this side, in a spot that wasn’t a parking area and where the car could be towed or broken into. We’d reserved 10 days, as usual, but might leave early. This was the first time I’ve hated this place, and I won’t come back. I’ll probably get rid of my time share. I don’t pay good money to be treated like this. I kept wondering whether it was because we’re Latino, and whether Trump now in office brought out the true ugliness in white people. The staff were all white except for one person, and these white folks were horrible. So much for a family vacation. Brown people, stay away unless you are white passing. I HATE THIS PLACE NOW!!!!

The location was great and so was our place, and I’ll go back, hopefully things will be better. Only one bbq worked. A few people made the stay less enjoyable, though. Some staff were straight-up rude. The girl checking us in had an attitude, then kept pushing a sales presentation after I said no multiple times. She even said she’d get in trouble with her boss if she didn’t make an appointment for me. Parking was a mess. We had a three-bedroom that sleeps eight and were told we could bring only one car. I asked Valerie why owners weren’t told, and she said it was in our confirmation letter. The letter only said basically during peak season, and it wasn’t peak season. The next day, another associate said not to worry because the property wasn’t full and there was plenty of space for both cars, so we parked both. Then the following day a rude gentleman told my husband he’d call the sheriff if we parked on the property again. We’ve been owners for over 23 years. Absolutely ridiculous. The education/ learning appointment was a ploy to sell us another program. Natalie the manager was pleasant at first, but her attitude changed completely for the worse when we said we weren’t buying anything.
