There was a power problem affecting Round Rock when I arrived this week, and General Manager Veronique* was downstairs, escorting guests to their rooms and assuring us the power would be back on asap. She and the staff were very professional, and I like how she's often downstairs talking with guests. The hotel is well run, the staff accommodating, and the location excellent, with dining and shopping nearby. The gym and pool are great too. It'll be my “home away from home” when I travel to Austin for work.

I appreciated how thoughtful and patient the person checking me in and the one checking me out were. The front desk staff were polite and professional, and they even gave me a free water, which made my day. They also accommodated my request for a 30 minute later checkout. My room was clean and welcoming, and it was clear housekeeping cared about the details. The staff were friendly overall. I didn't get to try breakfast or the other amenities, but the rest of the stay left me expecting them to be good. Looking forward to coming back!

The complimentary breakfast and coffee were okay, and the customer service and shower pressure were so good they made up for the thin walls and limited amenities. Best shower pressure I've ever had, who needs a hot tub? I've enjoyed the stay and I'm going on my 3rd week here. On Friday night, the front desk woman was calm, collected, quick to respond, and professional while helping resolve an unpleasant experience. Just know sleep can be hard when sports teams are in the area near the fields, with kids running around and making a racket.

I travel for work and stick to places rated 4 stars or better, and this hotel had great reviews. Kay was great with customer service, laughed at my jokes, and played along with my complimentary Rolls-Royce and Bentley jokes. My room was nice and clean. I'd definitely recommend the hotel. 👍🏾
