SureStay Studio by Best Western Rowland

We didn't stay at all. The second room was worse than the first, with a strong chemical smell that made it hard for my son to breathe. Its sheets were grey instead of white, the towels were hanging off a rack that was coming away from the wall, and there were dead bugs in and outside the room. In the first room, the sheets looked unwashed, the shower had pounds of soap scum, the mirrors had dirt streaks, the towels were stained, and there were eyelashes on the bed. The woman at the front desk had an attitude when we asked to switch rooms. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I don't understand how this place is still open. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The bed was comfortable, but the room smelled moldy, so we sprayed it to cover the odor. Roaches greeted us, and there was hair on the shower head. The only picture they have seems to be of the building's front from years ago, when it looked better than it does now. If I could give zero stars, that'd be the only award they deserve. Worst place I've ever stayed.

We booked through expedia, but didn't even unload the car before turning around and walking right back out of the room. The bed was dirty, and there was some kind of stain inside the comforter. At the front desk, the woman looked me up and down as if I were the problem. Now they're refusing my refund through expedia, and the best I can get is a travel voucher. Absolutely ridiculous. I wish I'd taken pictures for proof. Save your time and money, book somewhere else, and don't get trapped like my family did. I'd give zero stars if I could.

There wasn't a fridge, and the only appliance was an old tube TV that worked well enough for a movie or two. The WiFi was dead slow, and there was no ice machine during my visit. I paid for a non-smoking room with two queen beds, but it smelled like a smoking room that had been converted. The room was moderately clean, though the chairs looked stained and untouched for weeks. The bathroom had hot water and a semi-clean shower. Pillows were stained and mostly flat. The beds were the worst part: old, stained, and uncomfortable, with heavily stained sheets too small to stay on for more than a couple of minutes. I've traveled for a while, and this was one of the worst places I've been. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.
