Best Western Pine Springs Inn

Amelia was so friendly at breakfast and kept the food from running out and the dining area spotless. The buffet was great, and every employee I met was friendly. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the property itself looked beautiful and cared for. The pool was a perfect temperature, and both it and the hot tub were pristine. Thanks so much, everyone. This is a must-stay place.

The staff were kind and efficient, and the whole place felt clean, safe, and well maintained. Breakfast had more options than I expected. We skipped the pool and hot tub, though the area looked nice. For a much lower price than other places in town, this was a great choice. I wanted somewhere affordable, so cabins weren't an option, but I don't feel we missed out. The rooms were huge and in good shape, with beautiful views, especially from the mountain-facing side. With several buildings, a separate breakfast facility, and a nice courtyard, the layout felt more like a resort than a regular hotel. From the map I expected the property to be away from Ruidoso Downs, but wasn't sure it would be far enough from the highway. It turned out to be a lovely escape in Ruidoso. If we're back in the area, this will be at the top of my list.

The grounds felt secluded, with trees all around, and our dog enjoyed walking there. Felipe, the custodian, helped with whatever we needed, and Bob was helpful a few times too. The front desk staff were friendly and ready to assist. In the breakfast room, Marycella was efficient and friendly, and we enjoyed talking with her. The food was good. A couple of times we didn't have hot water. Felipe said they were working on fixing it. Even with that issue, we had a very enjoyable visit and plan to return in August.

Breakfast was hot and good, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is older, though it looks like it was nicely renovated at some point. It's up on a hill in a peaceful spot, away from traffic noise, and the TV was nice.
