Relax inn Ruston

The building’s front had black mold when I pulled up. Inside, the room smelled old and musty, and there was hair from previous guests all over the bathroom. The bathroom light didn’t work, and both the room and bathroom are very old and need an upgrade. I bought bleach and had to clean the bathroom myself. There were flies all over the room, and old smashed bugs on the sheets. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

It was $50, so you get what you pay for. The place looks sketchy, and the sheets had some stains; the room smelled a bit musty too. Still, it wasn’t the worst. The room was fairly clean and had a nice TV, fridge, and microwave.

Work on the building began after midnight, with crews working in the middle of the night. The owner gave us no warning and refused to stop. Guests who couldn’t sleep also couldn’t easily book another room at that hour.

After driving from south Florida to Texas and back, we hadn’t slept for two days and wanted to rest on the way home. We were on a budget, so we chose the cheapest hotel we found. After I gave them my car’s license plate and the rest of my information, they handed me the keys. I then saw a man hitting a woman. Whenever she tried to get away, he brought her back into the room. There were no security cameras, and the staff acted like they hadn’t seen anything. The room smelled musty, my sinuses got worse, and I turned on the AC and went to sleep. In the morning, I found bites all over my neck, face, forehead, head, and arms. Thinking it might be bed bugs, I checked the bed and saw one in the pillow; my friend saw another on the bed. I told the woman afterward that room 14 was infested with bed bugs, since they leave black dots on the bed. Now I have a really bad allergic reaction. You can check it out yourself.
