Classic Inn

It was quiet, and the room was clean without any strange smells. Just a regular room with a fridge and microwave. The location was fine, though there's no pool or ice. Lol. Check-in is at the motel across the street, where they give you a bucket you can fill.

The furniture needed repair, and the chain on our door was broken. The rooms are in rough shape. We won't be back.

I asked for a refund afterward. The price on Priceline and the location were good, and check-out was easy, but I wouldn't stay here again or at any of the non-branded hotels. The condition didn't match the price or a reasonable standard. In the video below, take one bug and multiply it by 20, then add tiny red and brown bugs, each about the size of those dots, too many to count. Check-in service was hassle-free. The room looked dated, but the bed was made, and it had a microwave and fridge. Pulling back the covers didn't raise an immediate concern. The shower was hot and steamy, but the drain was broken and I had to hold down the lever to keep the water draining. Around 1 a.m. I woke up itching like I'd been bitten by mosquitoes and found bed bugs all over my pillows. I pulled a wooden table and dresser together and slept on them until morning. I'm a travel nurse, so I carry RID shampoo and body wash, topical Benadryl, Neosporin, hydrocortisone and a vinyl suitcase with garbage bags. I'd already used my RAID for bedbugs and fleas at the motel where I'd stayed on Old Orchard Beach. In the morning, the front desk manager came to look at the room. She pulled back the covers and moved me right away to a bigger room with no bugs. She said they'd call pest control, but it was Sunday. I didn't bring bugs into the next room, but I had a lot of nasty bites. I normally don't do laundry, but I had to. I wasn't going to take bugs home or stay with them there. I still felt creeped out and paranoid after the first room.

Room 210 was gross and ruined our weekend. The bathroom door was filthy, and the bed was awful, with very poor sheets and pillows. The furniture looked like somebody had pulled it from the side of the street. The roof clearly needed replacing when I arrived, but I'd already booked through Priceline.
