Inn & Spa at Parkside

The Dream room had the quiet, clean feel we wanted, and the bed, shower, and tub were all amazing. We arrived late for a last-minute getaway, but after I called ahead, the very friendly woman at the desk said she’d wait for us. Check-in was easy, with everything explained simply, and checkout was just as straightforward. The TV was no trouble, though the temperature controls and fans took some figuring out, so we opened the balcony door for fresh air. Street parking required a permit, and the neighborhood was quiet. A really lovely stay, especially if you’re after somewhere relaxing or romantic for a little indulgence.

We stayed in the Refresh King Signature Spa Room, and it was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful, and getting checked in and out was so easy. Such a beautiful hotel. We’ll definitely come back!

The Happiness Loft had exactly the atmosphere we wanted for a quick night away to unwind. You do have to duck in spots, just as the description says, but that suited us fine.

The bed was comfortable, there were several pillows to choose from, and the room was clean. But I arrived expecting breakfast and was told there wasn’t any, just yogurt to grab and go for $15. The highway noise in the room was also quite loud, and the shower water barely got warm. I was the only guest in the whole house. They should advertise it as a room, not as including breakfast.
