Motel 6 Sacramento, CA–S Sacramento & Elk Grove

I keep coming back to this Motle 6 because it’s been the most comfortable one I’ve stayed at. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to, and the rooms are clean and standard. Some of the TVs are messed up, which is the only issue I’ve had. I’m a loyal customer here and I’m satisfied with this location.

I arranged the room for someone else, who needed somewhere to stay at the last minute, and they had one available. My friend slept past the listed 11 o’clock checkout, but the maid only woke her with a knock at noon, and nobody complained. I also noticed improvements around the property that seem like they’d make it more secure. The room area is fenced in, with a sensor gate that needs a room key. It’s not the greatest neighborhood, so that’s good to have. A Dennys is right on the property, and other businesses across the street offer walkable choices too. The freeway is close by.

I felt comfortable during our stay, and the grounds are kept up. The staff were kind and helpful, too. The rooms were clean, with laminate and tile floors and no carpet, which I appreciated. There’s a gated entrance, coffee in the morning, and laundry on site. The coffee is actually made well, not watered down like at some other places. They welcome dogs and other pets. The pool is closed for winter, but it’s a handy option in summer, especially since many other Motel 6 locations don’t have one. I’d definitely come back, 10/10.

I’ve stayed at countless Motel 6 locations around the country as a truck driver, and this is one of my best experiences with the brand. The area feels safe, with several good restaurants nearby. The rooms are basic, as expected, but cleaner and more comfortable than at most of the other properties I’ve visited. My room wasn’t ready at the scheduled check-in time, but I still want to give this place credit.
