The room stayed quiet even though a highway runs along the front of the hotel. You notice the traffic noise outside by the seating area, but not inside. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had cookware and dishes for making full meals. Breakfast had lots of choices and was very good. Room cleaning isn't daily, so you have to request it at the front desk. The staff were very nice, and the ice machines on every floor were always full. There's a good-sized gym with nice machines and weights, plus an outdoor seating area and a large working BBQ grill. There's a pool, though we didn't use it. Costco is right across the street, with several restaurants nearby.

Tina and Luis made this stay especially memorable. Luis's customer service and upbeat attitude seem to carry through the whole staff, and everyone I met was lovely. I slept well in a quiet room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast had a nice variety, and the woman working there cared about how guests were doing and asked for feedback, which was refreshing. Even the shower had a thoughtful touch, with the handle set away from the water so you don't get sprayed when you turn it on.

The staff made our one-night visit unforgettable, starting with five-star service at check-in. Luis, the GM, even made sure our kids had snacks for the drive to Reno, and everyone we met was fantastic. We came for the MJ Broadway show and were glad to have picked this spot, close to downtown, in what felt like a safer area, and near the freeways, Costco, and restaurants. The gym was clean and had brand new equipment. Breakfast had lots of choices, and the breakfast lady greeted everyone warmly and checked that they had what they needed. We'll definitely be back. Thank you, Luis, and all your wonderful staff.

The way the staff treated us really made the trip. We booked only 2 to 3 hours before arriving, and someone made sure we could get a room 2 hours before check-in. At the desk, she and another helpful person, who was also a manager, greeted us with smiles and recommendations. They gave my son a bag of snacks and goodies and offered to secure our bikes in their bike storage room. Staff from the front desk, facilities, and kitchen kept checking whether we needed anything. When a manager noticed my son come down for breakfast after the kitchen had closed, he proactively opened it and brought out food with a warm, family-style welcome. It's a newer property, and the pool, patio, gym, kitchen spaces, and hallways were kept extremely clean. The room had newer, comfortable furnishings, clean walls, and supportive beds. My family has stayed at many Residence Inns and Marriott properties, including JW, Marriott, Courtyards, Springfields, and Element. This was the best Residence Inn we've stayed at, and our favorite Marriott property. We all highly recommend it. Thanks for making Sacramento feel like home and taking such good care of us. We left with such good feelings about the staff. Please keep doing whatever magic you're doing.

The place was quiet throughout my stay, and the pool was large and nice, though there's no shade over it, so bring sunblock. The grounds are well maintained, and the staff were friendly everywhere, always saying hello. Breakfast and coffee are offered, and the hotel is very close to Costco. Parking costs extra. I paid $20 for two vehicles for two nights, and most spaces are behind the building, while the front is mainly for drop-offs. I had to do laundry: the washer was $5 with detergent included, and the dryer was another $5 with fabric softener included. The machines take cards or tap to pay, not cash. Get detergent and softener at the front desk before paying. I paid first, the machine timed out, and I had to pay again, but staff sorted it out for me. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
