Best Western Plus Safford

Housekeeping kept my room spotless, and maintenance stayed on top of things. The staff were friendly, and the stay was really comfortable. Best place I've stayed in the Gila Valley.

The EV charger was damaged but usable, and they quoted me $15 an hour for it. I'd asked about charging before starting check-in, but nobody mentioned the fee until halfway through the process. I cancelled once they told me. The hotel is very expensive, and the apparent discounts for company-paid stays make the pricing seem pretty predatory.

Nothing out of the ordinary, just a fairly standard place that seems to host a lot of different service providers. I slept great.

We booked in person, and Maddison made everything easy and welcoming. She helped my girlfriend and me sign up for Best Western Rewards, gave us recommendations, and found us a room without any hassle. Room 328 was a spacious, very clean King Suite that seemed recently renovated and was fairly priced. The A/C got nice and cold, the fridge worked, and there was plenty of room to relax. The room towels were soft and fluffy, though the towels housekeeping brought later were noticeably rough. The outdoor pool area was clean and inviting, but we didn't have much time to enjoy it. There's a mini bar behind the front desk and a full bar by the pool. One small thought for late check-ins who want to swim: leaving extra towels outside might save them the chilly walk back. The hot tub was just the right temperature for a cool Arizona night. Breakfast was fresh, filling, and plentiful. We look forward to staying again when we're traveling this way.
