Holiday Inn Express and Suites Saginaw

Shannon, who leads housekeeping, chatted with our group and made sure we had what we needed, including information about the breakfast choices. Kelly the manager was helpful as well. The room was nice, and its blackout shade worked perfectly. The man running the breakfast bar was pleasant too, though I didn’t get his name. The staff were amazing.

Josh at the front desk was great. He found a spot where our hockey kids could play without bothering other guests, and he gave us some good restaurant suggestions. The staff were friendly and it’s a great hotel. I highly recommend it.

The room was excellent, and Joshua at the front desk was cheerful and helpful when I arrived at 11:30 p.m. He spotted a mismatch in my room rate before I checked in and got it sorted out. Earlier, I’d had to delay my work trip by 24 hours because of a flight delay. I called, and the woman who answered was happy to move my stay, though I’ve forgotten her name. The staff were very helpful even though my situation was difficult. I’d absolutely recommend this place.

The room was clean, pleasant, and had no odor, but the bed wasn’t very good and the sink drained slowly. I work nights, and during the day I could hear little kids running and yelling in the room above me. The walls blocked most sound except from the ceiling. The front desk person couldn’t tell me whether travel nurses working nearby get a discount and said to call back later. The a/c woke me with a really loud noise, so I had to turn it off, and then the room got warm.
