Super 8 by Wyndham Saginaw

The hall carpet was coming loose and could trip someone if you weren't careful. In the room, one bed had a piece of wood under it to level it, and its mattress cover was dry rotted at the sides. The top sheet still showed a stain even after washing. The other bed's fitted sheet was ripped, and its top sheet had several stains that looked washed but were still visible. The air worked just enough in the heat to keep us from sweating, so we didn't need covers. The room itself was clean and had no odor. When I pointed out the bedding at checkout, the receptionist just said, "I'm sorry." There was no offer to address it or take anything off the bill. I wouldn't stay there again, and I'll spread the word on social media. No place is perfect, but ripped and stained sheets are too much.

A hole in both the wall and ceiling, a terrible smell, and a tiny, uncomfortable bed. This place is a dump. I asked for a refund and they refused. Don't stay here!

The room was trashed, and I wish I'd taken pictures. There was a razor behind the toilet, huge stains on the beds, and what looked like sheets and blankets grabbed at random. The towels didn't smell good or bad, but some felt rough, almost as if they hadn't dried properly. Go somewhere else unless you're really out of money.

We got our keys and went straight to the room, then left right away. The hallways smelled like marijuana, and the first key we were given opened an occupied room. The second room's door barely shut, there was trash under the beds, the smell was awful, and the sheets had spots. I didn't feel safe staying there with my two children, and they felt unsafe too. I told the employee at check-in we were leaving, but he refused a refund and offered a third room instead. Spend a little extra for a place that's safe, clean, and in working order. EDITED TO ADD: Super 8 emailed to deny refusing my refund and said I hadn't tried hard enough to tell them about the problems. Looking at other reviews, it seems the owner just blames others and avoids responsibility. Don't stay here, even if money's tight. Go somewhere else.
