We booked this motel specifically for the hot tub, then were told there wasn’t one. There is one, but apparently they’ve decided not to let guests use it. The rooms also look nothing like the photos. Really disappointing, and I wouldn’t stay again.
The parking lot felt safe, which was one thing this hotel got right. I’ve stayed at several Super 8 hotels while traveling, and usually expect a clean room, comfortable bed, decent breakfast, and safe parking. Here, the room was disgusting, the mattress should have been replaced years ago, and the breakfast was awful. It was hard-boiled eggs, some Wal-Mart yogurt, and an Eggo waffle with no toaster. The thresholds were screwed to the floor, too.
The complimentary breakfast was nice, and we couldn’t hear noise through the walls. A very friendly woman at the counter found us a clean, nice room for a great price. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay here again.
The furniture could use an update. It’s very old, and the chairs were stained. Still, the staff keep this older place very clean, they were friendly, the AC worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. For the price, I’d stay again.
My truck was at the Dodge dealer for repairs, and waiting for parts meant I needed a room for a few nights. Snow added another day to the wait. I manage housekeeping at a 500-room hotel, and I found the room very clean, with a fresh smell. It was quiet, too. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and I’d definitely stay again. I didn’t use the pool or fitness area.
