I really enjoyed the pool, and there are plenty of grills around the property. The place feels clean and safe, the staff are friendly, and it’s affordable. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The golf course is closed, though, and I hope they find an investor for it. The walking trails are awesome, too. ABC there.

We stayed in a villa with three friends, and it was a great setup. The rooms were basic, not like a four-star resort, but perfectly adequate. The Clubhouse was clean, and breakfast was hot and tasty. There were hardly any guests in mid-September; in our villa, just three other rooms were occupied, all by the same group. I hope they can keep the place going, and we plan to return next year. The course itself is beautiful and very nicely designed. Rainy weather all weekend left the greens soft, though they still rolled true, and the fairways were in perfect shape.

There’s no restaurant or bar on site, and the golf course has been closed for years. For the price, it feels like a rip-off. The place is in the middle of nowhere, with a dated, unclassy feel. Even the carpet looks straight out of the 1990s, with burns and rips everywhere. The guests were loud and very rude after hours.

The staff are terrific, and the prices are great. The course layout is still a favorite of mine, so I’ll make the 50-minute drive a few times next year to play again. I had fond memories from visits 15 or 20 years ago, and after playing twice in the last three months, I noticed the conditioning has slipped a little. It wasn’t bad at all, just not as pristine as it used to be. Still a great value, and I love playing here.

We’ve held our work Christmas party here for the past two years. The space is lovely and decorated, the food is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and attentive. It’s a great little hidden gem. I’d recommend the banquet facilities to anyone wanting an affordable but impressive spot for a dinner or party.
