The room was plain, but clean and comfortable, with a big TV, fridge, microwave, and a good bed. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, the area felt safe, and it was quiet enough to sleep well. For the price, it’s a reliable no-frills stay. I’d book here again.

I was sorry to leave. The room felt cozy, and I really liked the blue painted brick. During a severe storm, I waited out a tornado warning here, and the stay was still a good one. The on-site housekeeper was friendly and helpful. Downtown Carthage, its historic buildings and little shops, plus nearby food, shopping, and other amenities, make this a handy spot for a longer stay.

This turned out to be a little hidden gem, and I’d definitely recommend it. The price was good, and the rooms were as nice as the earlier reviews suggested. Mine was clean and comfortable, with freshly painted walls and a big window. I’d happily stay here again.
