Quality Inn and Suites Airport

The room was fine, and this was probably the quietest hotel stay I've ever had. The combo heater and AC worked really well. The bathroom door was broken, though it didn't cause me a problem. I got a same-day reservation for a single-bed room, and the front desk already had my check-in information, so there was no wait. They took a $50 deposit and returned it at checkout.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, in a relatively safe neighborhood. The price was reasonable for what you get, and they make a genuine effort to provide satisfactory service. I'd stay again. Housekeeping only handles high-priority tasks because they're understaffed. The advertised pool and fitness rooms weren't available, the room safes didn't work, and the TV remotes weren't programmed for the TVs.

The staff were really friendly, and that goes a long way. Kudos to them. The building is dated, though, and it's in an area that isn't the best. Some new carpet, better hallway lighting, and a few small updates to the look of the place would help it feel more upscale. You get what you pay for, and not much more. A faucet leaked the whole time I was there, so all I could hear was dripping. I don't know who the head engineer is, but this hotel isn't exactly space worthy. I also wish I'd known the pool and continental breakfast had been canceled because of Covid-19. I guess I should've just known that intuitively.

Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms were extremely dirty. I changed rooms three times, and every one looked like the aftermath of a party. There was mold and dirt embedded in the bathroom, the carpet felt sticky, the beds hadn't been made, and the whole building constantly smelled of pot. On my last day, the local fire department was there doing inspections, and there were multiple failures.
