Hunter Arms Hotel

Sarah at the front desk was kind and helpful. She explained where I needed to go and pointed me toward somewhere to get breakfast. The hotel is simple, but very nice, clean, and comfortable for the price. I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel is lovely, with historical furniture and friendly staff. My room had a fridge and microwave, and there was a soft drinks machine on the same floor. Breakfast is free and continental, and there's a nice enclosed garden where you can eat. The WiFi was super fast, over 200Mb, and I had no trouble getting online. It's right in the centre of St Cloud, so you can walk around in a few minutes, with cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby if you don't want to drive. It's an old building, from the 1920s, and some might call it run down while others might call it shabby chic and on trend. You do get what you pay for, but it's clean and well above average. No cockroaches, which matters since lots of other local hotels are full of them or rent rooms to homeless people. If your room overlooks the car park, you might want to ask to move. People sometimes rev their engines in the early hours when leaving the local bar.

My wife and I stayed two nights, and we really loved the whole hotel. It's very old, almost 100 years, but the people and rooms were the best.

Historic, clean, and cozy, with courteous staff and a wonderfully comfortable bed. A practical choice for a quiet overnight. Fyre Tavern is within walking distance for the end of the evening, and Royal St Cloud Golf Links is less than 10 minutes away.
