Best Western St. Francisville Hotel

KP Patel, the manager, was consistently professional and kind, always greeting me with a smile and helping with whatever I needed. That attitude seemed to carry through to the rest of the staff, who were gracious and helpful as well. I enjoyed my stay and was impressed with them. My one suggestion is to replace some towels. They were clean, but a few looked dingy and had small stains.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The eggs, though, were dry and tasteless, and staff were making to-go plates before breakfast was over, leaving little for the guests. The hallway also needs cleaning along the baseboards. We stayed at the Best Western, St. Francisville, LA, on Friday, October 17, and Sunday, October 19, 2025. My interactions with Rolanda at the desk were frustrating. When she was taking my reservation, I asked a question and she said she could only do one thing at a time. She could have simply offered to answer once she finished. When I called later about early check-in, she said she couldn't make that decision, but could have politely explained how to use Best Western's policy to request an early check-in at that location. I also asked her for a complete set of towels because the room didn't have enough. She didn't greet me or look at me, and handed them over as if I were bothering her. Later, my sister approached the desk while Rolanda was doing her nails and talking on her cell phone on speaker. Again, she seemed annoyed at the interruption and didn't greet or look at my sister. We saw another guest come to the desk saying she'd been hurt on the elevator because a piece of metal was sticking out. Rolanda apologized, but nobody offered help with the injury or asked the guest to point out where it happened.

Francis, the restaurant across the street, had extremely good food and a lovely outdoor patio, with a large deck wrapped around a huge tree decorated with lights. The hotel was a great place to stay while visiting The Rosedown Plantation on our way to New Orleans. It’s less than five minutes from The Rosedown Plantation, Butler Greenwood Plantation B&B, and The Myrtles Plantation.

I spent a week here on a business trip. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the hotel very clean, with daily room service. My only issue was breakfast timing. It started too late for me to eat before leaving each day to reach my destination on time.
